Nutrison 1000ml OpTri Bottle Features and Benefits
- Nutritionally complete formula: Nutrison provides 1,000 kcal and 40 g of protein per 1,000 ml bottle, making it suitable as a sole source of nutrition when used according to the prescribed feeding regimen. The formula also provides carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals as part of its balanced nutritional profile.
- Standard energy density: Nutrison provides 1 kcal per ml, allowing healthcare professionals to calculate and manage energy intake according to an individual's prescribed nutritional requirements. Each 1,000 ml OpTri Bottle provides 1,000 kcal when the full bottle is administered.
- Fibre-free enteral nutrition: Nutrison contains less than 1 g of fibre per 1,000 ml and is designed for people who require a residue-restricted enteral diet. The fibre-free formulation provides an option when a healthcare professional determines that dietary fibre should be restricted.
- Ready-to-use OpTri Bottle: Nutrison comes in a 1,000 ml ready-to-use OpTri Bottle that doesn't require mixing or preparation before administration. The OpTri Bottle can be used with compatible enteral feeding equipment as part of either a closed or open feeding system.
- Designed for enteral feeding: Nutrison is formulated specifically for administration through an enteral feeding tube and is not intended for parenteral use. The formula should be administered according to the feeding regimen recommended by a doctor, dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional.
- Practical format for ongoing feeding: Nutrison is supplied in cartons containing 8 x 1,000 ml OpTri Bottles, with Nutricia product code 196493. The larger bottle format is suitable for prescribed enteral feeding regimens where nutritionally complete tube feeding is required.
